Backing up your Profiles

Profiles are essentially a series of records that contain names and paths. These can get numerous over time, so it's a good practice to keep a backup of your profiles. This ensures that if you need to restore them later you won't have to recreate them all.
  1. From the Tools menu, select Profiles > Backup....
    The Browse for Folder window is displayed.
  2. Browse the system for a folder to which you have access rights. It is recommended to use the My Documents folder under your user folder.

    Note: The image above shows the path as it appears in the Browse for Folder window, and is properly selected there. The actual path to the same folder is:
    D:\Users\<firstname.lastname>\Documents
  3. Click OK to confirm the selected folder.
    A confirmation message is displayed upon successful backup.
